37. UEFA Süper Kupası, Porto'yu 2-0 yenen Barcelona'nın oldu.

Monaco'daki finalde, Şampiyonlar Ligi Şampiyonu Barcelona ile UEFA Avrupa Ligi Şampiyonu Porto karşılaştı. Rakibine 2-0 üstünlük sağlayan Barcelona, kupayı müzesine götüren taraf oldu.

İspanyol ekibi Barcelona'ya kupayı getiren golleri 39. dakikada Messi ve 88. dakikada Fabregas attı.

Portekiz ekibi Porto'da 86. dakikada Rolando ve 90. dakikada Guarin kırmızı kartla oyundışı kaldı.

Öte yandan Barcelona, Süper Kupa'yı 4. kez müzesine götürme başarısı gösterdi. İspanyol ekibi 1992'de Almanya'nın Werder Bremen takımını 1-1 ve 2-1'lik skorlarla geçerek, 1997'de de yine bir Alman takımı olan Borussia Dortmund karşısında 2-0 ve 1-1'lik skorlarla kupaya uzanmıştı.

Barcelona, 2009'da ise Ukrayna'nın Shakhtar Donetsk ekibini 1-0'la geçerek, Süper Kupa'yı kazanmıştı.

-GUARDİOLA DA 2. KEZ KAZANDI-

Teknik direktör olarak Süper Kupa'yı daha önce 2009'da kazanma başarısı gösteren Barcelona Teknik Direktörü Guardiola, ikinci kez bu kupayı kazandı. Guardiola, Süper Kupa'yı 2. kez kazanan 6. teknik adam oldu.

Süper Kupa'yı daha önce Raymond Goethals (Anderlecht 1976 ve 1978), Arrigo Sacchi (Milan 1989 ve 1990), Alex Ferguson (Aberdeen 1983 ve Manchester United 1991), Louis van Gaal (Ajax 1995 ve Barcelona 1997) ve Carlo Ancelotti (AC Milan 2003 ve 2007) teknik direktör olarak ikişer kez kazanmıştı.
